Day 1 FES – IFRAN – AZROU – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA SUNSET
Our 6 days camel tours fez start by meeting you in your lovely Hotel in the old city. As we start driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains.
We will first stop in Ifrane. One of the most beautiful mountain towns. Then, continue our fes desert tours 4 days to Azrou. An important handicraft centre specialized in the most creative work of cedar wood.
Pursue to Midelt, The City of Rocks for lunch. In order to taste a traditional Berber Tagine for lunch. Then, drive to Erfoud to start feeling the beginning of the majestic Sahara.
Our final destination on today’s 6 days camel tours fez would be the Golden town of Merzouga. It is where we would be taking a traditional Saharan meal and then stay an overnight in a local Kasbah.
Day 2 Merzouga Camel trekking and night in Erg Chebbi desert
On the second Day of our 6 days camel tours fez adventure; we’ll wake up in sunrise time to admire the captivating view on spectacular camel ride. Then, wander through the Sahara leaving behind hundreds of distant black Nomadic tents. After that, join a Nomadic family for a cup of mint tea as we discover more about their impressive culture and simple lifestyle. We’ll be also visiting the famous village of Khamlia to hear the most interesting stories of The Gnaoua locals and their story of slavery.
After lunch and some time to rest, take our camels back to the desert camp. Where we would have our typical Sahara dinner and have some rest.
Day 3 Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
As soon as we have our marvelous Sahara breakfast, continue our 6 days camel tours fez towards our next magical destination. The fabulous Dades Gorges.
We’ll first stop in Rissani. The old Sahara town that used to the original home of the ruling dynasty. After a memorable tour in the local Markets, start driving towards another Moroccan heaven. The famous Todra Gorges, passing by charming southern villages and incredible surviving Kasbahs.
Our final station for the day would the fascinating Dades Gorges. Where we would have our traditional dinner in a local restaurant. Then, spend the night in a lovely charming auberge along the Dades River.
Day 4 Dades Gorges – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After a tasty fresh breakfast in the Auberge, start our drive towards the southern treasure hidden in the Moroccan Sahara. The charming town of Skoura. Continue 6 days camel tours fez towards the Berber Kasbah of Taourirt. In order to discover the impressive culture of the Sahara natives and their interesting lifestyle.
Next, explore the great city of Ouarzazate. An old town with a incredible international film studio where wonderful movies were made. We will guide you through Studio that will take you back in time to have your own unique sense of “Lawrence of Arabia”. In addition, we will explore Taourirt Kasbah before heading to a local hotel or Kasbah to stay the night.
Day 5 Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After a delicious morning breakfast, we will be visiting the largest and most impressive Kasbah in Morocco. The famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. In order to see another famous Film studio mainly containing old KSOUR (Royal Palaces) and ancient monuments. The Kasbah is the location where the 6th season of Game of Thrones was shot.
At the end of the day, continue 6 days camel tours fez to Marrakech. Via the incredible path of old Sahara villages. The famous Tizi n’Tichka pass crossing the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains.
Our Arrival to Marrakech would be in the late evening. In order to spend the night in fancy Moroccan- Style Hotel.
Day 6 Marrrakech Airport
At the end of your 6 days camel tours fez, your personal driver will get you to the airport. It is where you would leave Morocco, with memorable experiences, and unforgettable moments.
