Day 1 Tanger – Chefchaouen
We will start our 8 days tangier in depth tours by picking you up from your Hotel or Airport. Then, continue heading towards the most beautiful and calm Moroccan destination. The fascinating Chefchaouen.
Upon our arrival to the Blue pearl of Morocco, you would fall in love with the relaxing in the blue serenity of Chefchaouen. The beauty hidden in the Jewish- inspired colored buildings in every shade of blue imaginable. Along with the colors and the unique shades definitely make the Blue Chefchaouen every Photographer’s dream.
We would wander through the beautifully blue and white washed walls and majestic mountains overlooking the characterful town . Furthermore, introduce you to the old Medina with its blue like maze lined with the beautiful and colorful handicraft. As Chefchaouen is internationally known for its unique original woven items. You would also enjoy a break in Plaza Uta el-Hammam. The large square in the city center gorgeously shaped in the most elegant combination of Arabic and Spanish.
Spend the night in a lovely blue Guesthouse in one of Chefchaouen narrow streets.
Day 2 Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
As soon as we have our fancy breakfast, we will leave the Blue pearl towards a fascinating treasure hidden in the gorgeous Moroccan countryside.
The first destination would be Meknes. The Ismailian Capital of Morocco and one of the largest walled cities in the world and spectacular historical sites with the most magnificent monuments. In addition, you would get to discover magical secrets and underground monuments that date back to the 17th century.
Our next stop would be a spectacular Holy place and sacred location in every Moroccan’s heart. Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a lovely village in the way to Meknes with a unique and obvious spiritual influence. The village has incredible views to admire and impressive hidden history to discover.
Later on, stop in the magnificent Volubilis, The Old Roman Remains built by the Romans on the 3d century BC. You will get to see the oldest history wonders. As you discover the beautiful Roman architecture in the surviving castles and giant gates decorated with the most captivating tiles.
Last, pursue to Fes, the heart of Morocco, where we will have a fancy dinner as well as spend the night in a mesmerizing historical Riad.
Day 3 Fez Guided Tour
After a lovely breakfast in The Riad, your guide will take you explore Morocco’s old city and its ancient beaten heart.
We’ll first visit the oldest part of the city, the old Medina. One of the largest walled cities in the world. Then, enter the Medina from its majestic Blue Gate “ Bab Boujloud”. A fascinating old gate made with fabulous classical marvel and beautiful Moroccan blue tiles that perfectly turn to green at the other side of the gate. Our team will take you wander through the narrow streets of the Medina. All lined with traditional small shops selling the most captivating handicrafts and handmade items.
Next, we would take you to “Chouara Tannery”, the oldest tannery in Africa. Where real leather is being naturally shaped and coloured giving the most beautiful and authentic leather products. Afterwards, start exploring the Madrasas (Islamic Schools), to have an idea about the ancient way of Islamic teaching and discover the most marvelous old architecture.
After wandering through the old side of Fes, we would take you outside of the Medina. In order to discover the magnificent Royal Palace to see its majestic doors. Beautifully decorated with golden mosaic and splendid plasterwork.
Later on, we’ll take you to discover El Mellah. The oldest jewish quarter in Morocco to see a different side of the authentic country. Then, your personal driver would show the north and southern towers of Fes to see the most beautiful panoramic view of the whole Medina.
Take our Delicious Fessi Dinner. Then, spend the night in our exotic Riad.
Day 4 Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga
Today, We’ll leave the old walled city heading towards the highest Atlas Mountains. Then, stop Ifrane, “The Little Moroccan Switzerland”, the most calm and clean town in the whole country.
After that, pursue 8 days tangier in depth tours to the largest Cedar forest in Morocco. In order to take a tour in the green wood’s and have some clean pure air, while playing with the funny little monkeys. Our Berber Tagine would be served in Midelt the Berber town. So as to taste some irresistible Berber food and its unique combination of Moroccan flavors.
Start heading towards the Golden Merzouga passing by Erfoud. The charming Sahara village to finally get to our last destination Merzouga in the late afternoon.
Upon our arrival, we will take our camels on the most mesmerizing trek in the beautiful sunset. Then, spend the night in a luxurious desert camp. In order to gather around the campfire and staring at the captivating starry night sky.
Day 5 Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
As soon as we have our marvelous Sahara breakfast, we’ll continue our 8 days tangier in depth tours towards our next magical destination. The fabulous Dades Gorges. We will first stop in Rissani. The old Sahara town that used to the original home of the ruling dynasty.
After a memorable tour in the local Markets, we will start driving towards another Moroccan heaven. The famous Todra Gorges, passing by charming southern villages and incredible surviving Kasbahs. Our final station for the day would the fascinating Dades Gorges. Where we would have our traditional dinner in a local restaurant. In addition, spend the night in a lovely charming auberge along the Dades River.
Day 6 Valley of the Dades – Valley of the Rose – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After a tasty fresh breakfast in the Auberge, start our drive towards the southern treasure hidden in the Moroccan Sahara. The charming town of Skoura. We will continue 8 days tangier in depth tours towards the Berber Kasbah of Taourirt. In order to discover the impressive culture of the Sahara natives and their interesting lifestyle.
Next, in our 8 days tangier in depth tours; we’ll explore the great city of Ouarzazate. An old town with an incredible international film studio. Where wonderful movies were made. We will guide you through Studio that will take you back in time to have your own unique sense of “Lawrence of Arabia”.
After that, we’ll be visiting the largest and most impressive Kasbah in Morocco. The famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. In order to see another famous Film studio mainly containing old KSOUR (Royal Palaces) and ancient monuments. The Kasbah is the location where the 6th season of Game of Thrones was shot.
At the end of our Tour, continue 8 days tangier in depth tours to Marrakech via the incredible path of old Sahara villages. The famous Tizi n’Tichka pass crossing the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains.
Our Arrival to Marrakech would be in the late evening to spend the night in fancy Moroccan- Style Hotel.
Day 7 Marrakech Guided Tour
As soon as we have our typical Moroccan breakfast, Sahara Guided Tours team will introduce you to the lively heart of Morocco. We will first visit the Bahia Palace. A fascinating Moroccan Royal palace with authentic Arab decoration and authentic Arab architecture.
We will take you through the Saadian Tombs, and the colorful Souks of Marrakech. In order to get lost in the exotic maze-like network of dim alleyways and small streets lined with authentic shops, beautiful handicrafts, and colorful Moroccan spices.
After that, have a break in Jack Majorelle garden to have some cool fresh air and admire the marvelous green Moroccan-Style Gardens. Our evening would be spent in “Jamaa El Fnaa Square”, where we would find Musicians, storytellers, Henna Women, Magicians, snake, monkey charmers, and of course delicious food sellers.
At the end of our Marrakech Guided Tour, your personal driver would take you to your luxurious Hotel to have some rest.
Day 8 Marrakech (Airport Transfer)
On the last Day of our 8 days tangier in depth tours, your personal driver will get you to the airport. Where you would leave The Red City, with thousands of memories, new friendships, and wonderful experiences.
